Transformation

For my final photographic project at university, I explored my journey in faith in a very abstract way. When taking photos, I tried to free my mind of thinking about the final aesthetics of the image and the concept of the photograph. However, during the process I always kept my faith in mind - sometimes by listen to worship music, and other times through prayer. I felt that the images would portray a more true representation of reality, if I approached the process with a clear, unthinking mind. Of course, this is utterly impossible - but I did my best.

About me

I have recently graduated from Goldsmiths, where I studied photography. During my time at university I kept a blog, though my last post was just short of a year ago - as my final year of study began.

Now that I have more time on my hands, I want to begin to document my creativity once more. Within this blog I will explore my journey in faith through the creative avenues of photography, art and creative writing.

I became a Christian just over a year ago (2nd July 2011), which has completely and utterly transformed my life for the better. Exploring my faith through photography is something that has been on my heart for a little while now, and I'm excited to finally be acting upon this desire.
